Who am I?
As a child, I loved writing poetry and song lyrics, but I had never tried to write a children’s book until it simply flowed out of me in a matter of minutes. I wrote it in my journal, shared it with my husband and a couple of close friends, and tucked it away.
It wasn’t until I played around with digital art that the thought occurred to me to illustrate my book and get it published. I started on it and I loved the process of illustration. It is a joy seeing characters come to life.
I am a mother, an artist, and a writer. I love cooking, gardening, and sharing meals with friends and family. I love life and I love imagination because it has no rules and no bounds.
I am beyond excited to share my first children’s book with the world. I wrote it when my kids were little as they were running and jumping and using the living room furniture as their obstacle course; one dressed as a princess, one as Spiderman, and the other as Batman. Some days Batman would be wearing a tiara and plastic high heeled shoes and sometimes, the princess would have on the Spiderman mask.
The freedom that comes from our mental limitlessness allows us to continue creating.
